Puneet Arya
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the official website of the Young Entrepreneurs Society (YES).
YES is more than an association—it is a vibrant community of entrepreneurs united by a shared commitment to learning, collaboration and excellence. Every programme we organise, every initiative we undertake and every representation we make is driven by a single objective: to create meaningful value for our members and strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the handicrafts export industry.
As General Secretary, I have had the privilege of working closely with our members, Governing Body, senior mentors and industry stakeholders. This experience has reaffirmed my belief that the strength of any organisation lies not merely in its leadership but in the active participation of its members. The success of YES has always been the result of collective effort, mutual trust and a willingness to contribute beyond individual interests.
The business environment today is evolving rapidly. Global markets are becoming increasingly competitive, technology is transforming the way we work, and customer expectations continue to rise. In such an environment, knowledge sharing, continuous learning and professional networking are no longer optional—they are essential for sustainable growth.
At YES, we remain committed to providing our members with opportunities to stay ahead of these changes. Through industry interactions, leadership development programmes, technical workshops, buyer and government interface, policy advocacy, networking events and mentorship initiatives, we strive to equip our members with practical knowledge and meaningful connections that support their business growth.
Our Society also believes that the growth of an enterprise should go hand in hand with the development of the industry as a whole. We therefore encourage collaboration over competition, shared learning over individual success and collective progress over personal achievement. When entrepreneurs come together with a common purpose, they create solutions that benefit not only their businesses but the entire industry.
As Helen Keller wisely said, "Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much."
This thought perfectly reflects the spirit of YES.
I encourage every member to take an active role in the Society's activities, participate in discussions, share ideas, volunteer for initiatives and contribute towards strengthening our organisation. Every suggestion, every effort and every new member adds to the collective strength of YES.
On behalf of the Governing Body, I sincerely thank all our members, mentors, government departments, institutions and well-wishers for their continued support and encouragement. Together, let us continue to build a dynamic organisation that empowers young entrepreneurs, promotes innovation and contributes to the continued success of India's handicrafts export industry.
Together, let us connect, collaborate and create new opportunities for growth.
